In 2003-2005 WPRC developed strong network of organizations and individuals in all regions of Georgia ( 40 non-governmental organizations and individual activists) and established three regional offices – one in Mtskheta (Mtskheta-Mtianeti region), one in Poti (Samegrelo region) and one in Kutaisi (Imereti region). Work of the network, as well as regional offices is based on volunteer participation.

In 2005 FEMINIST CLUB was granted the Consultative Status of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). It has been involved in close relationships with a large number of NGOs worldwide.

In 2006 WPRC initiated creation of INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION , which will provide technical and financial assistance to women politicians and will develop strategies to foster women’s empowerment and gender equality in democratic governance

MISSION STATEMENT

WPRC, Women’s Political Resource Centre is the International foundation. It provides technical assistance to women politicians and develops strategies to foster women’s empowerment and gender equality in democratic governance. In serving its mission WPRC conducts studies on women’s issues and advocates legislative recommendations promoting gender equality. Placing the advancement of women’s human rights at the centre of all of its efforts, WPRC performs researches, analytical, consulting, educational, informational and publishing activities. It holds conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, conducts media campaigns and organizes public actions.
