The Young Women s Network is made up of young women who are interested to inspire all young women to be strong, smart and bold and who demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team. The Network was formed in an effort to support the participant s ongoing development as capable, confident young women who are interested in taking on greater leadership roles; to foster relationships with other women s efforts.
Our vision is a society of equal and active citizens who decide about their lives in a democratic, civil state of law with full respect of human rights. Our mission is to foster young women s intellectual and creative growth, self-confidence, and ability to participate as active leaders in the development of a just and democratic society.
Our underlying values are equality and equal opportunities, sharing with others, commitment, tolerance, solidarity, caring about people, setting up relationships and partnerships with young women, women s organizations, and initiative groups.
Our Objectives:
To create a network of young women, who will take initiatives, share information and best experiences in working with marginalized groups
To increase visibility of young women as leaders in their communities and to increase self-confidence of young women so we can be efficient leaders, capable of creating positive influence on our communities.
To develop a solid partnership between organizations as well as formal and informal networks of young women and leaders, at local and regional level, and also at the international level;
To improve communication and increase dialogue opportunities through the establishment of national and regional networks of women involved in peace building;
